Mother, Elizabeth Thompson and CEO/Founder of Elizabeth’s Helping Hands Homecare, Zina Thompson.
Our Purpose
Since 2001, Elizabeth’s Helping Hands Homecare has been assisting individuals in need of in-home health care. Helping Hands is named after my mother, Elizabeth Thompson, who was diagnosed with Dementia in 2005. My mother served as a constant source of strength and inspiration not only to me but to everyone she came in contact with. She learned how to live with dementia and made the most out of her life.
I decided to honor her in this way as a tribute to her caring nature, as she always offered a hand to all, whether it was for her family, friends, or people in her community. She motivated me to enter the home health care field over 30 years ago, and why I was determined to start my own business. The goal for Elizabeth’s Helping Hands Homecare is to ensure that our clients can live comfortably in their homes, help clients live a dignified life, and be a source of help for anyone in need, no matter their race, religion, or financial status.
“Our helping hands are the greatest asset to your loved one’s needs.”
